The 2023 Nutri-Score: energy, sugars, saturated fat, salt, fibre, protein, and fruit and vegetable content.
Declared E-numbers, weighted by the published regulator position on each one.

Where you shop
Four US states and the EU have enacted additive laws with different scopes and different dates. Picking one shows you which ones reach a product. It never changes the score.
Scoring
Conventional scanners do this and it is defensible, but it overrides everything else. Turn it off to see the weighted total on its own.
Stored on this device
Products you open are kept locally so they still work with no signal. Clearing them removes the offline copies; your weights and profile stay.
