European Union
Banned · 7 August 2022
Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/63
In force from 7 February 2022 with a six month transition; sale ended 7 August 2022.
None of this moves a score. A law tells you what a shop may sell where you live, which is a different question from what is in the packet, and mixing the two would make two people’s scores for the same product incomparable.
How much of it counts
No amount of this one earns a discount. EFSA set no acceptable daily intake in 2021 because genotoxicity could not be ruled out, so there is no threshold for a ceiling to argue against. The rule is here.
